What Photographs Should I Submit for a Pool Automation Assessment?

The right photographs help us assess your pool equipment without a site visit. Here is exactly what to photograph and how to send it through.

Why photographs matter

Clear photographs of your equipment pad or plant room allow Ultra Automation to identify the brands, models and configuration of your current system. This means we can provide a more informed initial assessment before any site visit.

What to photograph

Include the following where present:

• The main controller or automation panel — front view and any model label

• The pump and its nameplate (shows brand, model and voltage)

• The chlorinator or sanitation system

• Any heating equipment (gas heater, heat pump or solar controller)

• Valve actuators and the plumbing around the equipment pad

• Any existing remote or app interface if you have one

How to take useful photos

Take photos in good light, close enough to read the brand and model labels. If a label is hard to reach, a clear photo of the label is more useful than a wide shot of the whole pad. Include one wider shot showing the overall layout, then closer shots of each item.

What happens after you submit

Once you upload your photographs through the assessment form, Ultra Automation reviews the equipment, brand compatibility and likely integration requirements. We then contact you to discuss the most suitable next step — whether that is a new installation, a staged upgrade or a site assessment.
